This new touch reader is a 125KHz frequency RFID inductive reader. It adopts a cylindrical design, making it small and convenient with a good feeling of grasp. The device uses a dedicated download station to communicate.
The reader's metal shell is equipped with a waterproof washer for protection, providing IP67 efficient waterproof and dustproof capabilities. The silicone liner protects the host board, effectively preventing it from falling and providing shock-proof function. It can work normally when falling freely from a height of 2 meters.
The stand-alone version software allows users to add multiple guard patrol tour readers. Additionally, different types of devices can be registered in the software, as long as they use the same software version. Users can also name the checkpoint tags in the software.
The reader has a 7200 data storage capacity and communicates via a USB cable with a data downloader. It can record up to 4500 records per minute and can read 100 cards per day, lasting for 450 days. The device features a highlight LED light that prompts the user's actions. However, the data cannot be uploaded to a computer with the downloader.
Multiple patrol personnel can share the same patrol wand reader, making it suitable for various patrols or inspections, including those in schools, shopping malls, banks, and transportation hubs. It is important to note that the software supports all Windows systems but does not support Apple's MAC system.
